Window-cleaning robot: what to check before use
Window fit and safe attachment matter more than a one-touch promise.
Some product links are affiliate links. We have not physically tested these items.
Windows have frames, handles, tracks, small panes and sometimes open edges. Compare the specific robot instructions with each window.
We have not tested cleaning performance or suction. At height, follow the maker’s instructions for a safety rope and secure anchor, without leaning outside.
Map one window first
Measure continuous glass area and distance to power. Verify the model’s stated conditions for frameless glass and any slope.
One-touch window robot

The seller describes one-touch start and obstacle handling. Check whether the window and safety setup meet its instructions.
Limitation: One-touch operation does not remove the need to secure and prepare the device.
Slim window robot

A thinner body may be worth comparing where a shutter or screen limits clearance. Measure the actual gap.
Limitation: A thin profile does not itself establish suitability for an exterior or frameless pane.
Safety before convenience
If there is no safe anchor or the window does not meet the model instructions, do not run it there. Learn the setup on an accessible pane first.
